Children’s Books
This is a collection of personal projects I have worked on while studying at University. These books were part of my projects while attending.
This children’s book is tale about the adventures of Boye (A fictional dog based on Rupert of the Rhine’s pet hunting hound). This story was written for my penultimate project at Uni and got me a First for the Term. There are currently only two chapters, with some unfinished plans for further story. Everything was written and Illustrated by myself.
The Hidden Life of Owls in the UK:
This project was my final submission for university. It is a proposed idea for an illustrated guidebook for children aged around 7-10 to introduce them to wildlife they otherwise might not hear much about, hidden in the UK’s forests! Everything here was written, designed and Illustrated by myself with bleeds for a 216mm x 279mm book.
Ocean awareness:
This is a three piece illustrative project done in my second year at University. It was to raise awareness surrounding how humans are treating their oceans and the consequences of negligence. I found two poems to illustrate that had similar themes and created a ‘sea creature’ as my main focal point. The third poem was written by myself. All illustrations are my own.
